Slowly but surely...

Well a few things have happened since we last wrote. The car is still in one piece and has been behaving fairly well. We discovered the hard way that there is no alert when the lights are left on however. A couple of jump leads and a bit of battery charging using the Peugeot 106 got the LC up and running again.

The other week we took a trip down to my parents to thoroughly go through the vehicle, try everything out any make sure it all worked. Things went fairly smoothly. There appear to be a couple of blown bulbs, not sure how the MOT didn't pick those up! Got the roof tent up eventually, hopefully the second attempt will be a little easier.

Last weekend a second hand wing mirror arrived from a scrapped Land Cruiser so we could use the bits to fix our not very functional mirror. It was stuck on with Velcro and would not adjust, which was fine for Hannah but a little low for me. Unfortunately it would turn out that we don't have a standard wing mirror, so with some fiddling and a little more Velcro we eventually got something together that works.
